It was a goofy, light-hearted project---but, more seriously, it was also an attempt to comment on the very real semantic angst arising recently about what we mean by 21st century literacy and literacies. Sometimes the best way to consider the new is through the eyes of something well-worn and familiar. And funny. Funny is good.
