Just poking around the blogs out there and came across this great video that's a 21st Century Literacy version of the Letter from Camp. It's posted at Higher Edison. Take a look. I promise you will smile.

Thanks for the mention, Karen, and glad to hear you enjoyed the video. It was a goofy, light-hearted project---but, more seriously, it was also an attempt to comment on the very real semantic angst arising recently about what we mean by 21st century literacy and literacies. Sometimes the best way to consider the new is through the eyes of something well-worn and familiar. And funny. Funny is good.

Great to meet you. Love your idea of "talkworthy" as a literacy touchstone.
