When we work with children we often discover talkworthy texts. These are the pieces that draw us in and invite us to uncover a deeper meaning and to build our own unique understanding. And so it is with conversation. Whether it is a reflective conversation with oneself or with a group of others, the talk moves us to deeper understanding and a broader view of our thinking. Here's hoping that all our conversations will be talkworthy.
My grandson, Zeke, is just learning to pull him self up to stand. He is a sponge for all the new things he is discovering. I love the fact that he found some books on his journeys today.
