It is very nice to hear the insight from an experienced educator who has clearly discovered numerous strategies and structure along your journey as a principal. Your insight on what schools should be doing for students is so important. I am not sure what direction I want to take after I complete my courses but, i am looking forward to the opportunities it will provide me for the next step in my journey. Thanks for sharing.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17246971246587905720noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4760018118498685466.post-58163196629306890682016-09-25T00:16:11.901-04:002016-09-25T00:16:11.901-04:00Yes I so agree! When teachers and students feel valued and trusted they take the risks that move them towards their goals. It's the WITH that caught my attention. So often in schools we can get caught up in what children need or what they don't have under control instead of first thinking about what they come WITH. Your reminder that innovation really may look different for everyone and that it is really about shaping school to meet the child instead of shaping the child to do school.

I'm looking forward to learning along with you,
Cathy Cathyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08233792477358685156noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4760018118498685466.post-68455277266618684952016-09-21T16:47:41.113-04:002016-09-21T16:47:41.113-04:00Great post. I think a lot of schools are at this point where they have made a lot of changes, but they need to figure out how to sustain those changes regardless of who ends up in the leadership roles.Scottyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14030667725183081382noreply@blogger.com
